In the 2 to 2.5 hour class students will learn a brief history of Indigo and how to create basic patterns and prints on fabric using ancient shibori techniques. Each student will receive a couple of different styles of fabric to play around with. Types of fabric include organic cotton scarf, organic cotton napkin set (set of 4), rough cut linen fabric (approx. 1m x 1m) and/or silk scarf. Students will have the choice between 2 of the 4 options to work with. Please do not bring your own fabric to dye.

Sometimes accidents happen so please wear clothing you don’t mind getting stained.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided, but please come nourished.
