Intro to weaving

In this 3.5 hour workshop students will learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom; how to warp your loom,

different types of woven stitches, patterns, and textures.

 Each student will have a variety of speciality wool and roving to work with in varying textures and colours.

 

Materials include;

Hand built frame loom, weaving needles, weaving comb, driftwood and/or wooden dowel, birch bark (or other textures)

 and wool and roving.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided but please come nourished.
